and Respect Committee
The Local 668 Dignity and Respect Committee was established to promote respectful treatment of employees of the Metropolitan Council and to aid members who experience disrespectful treatment. Various documents express the Metropolitan Council's commitment to respectful treatment of all employees.
"All Metropolitan Council officials and employees will be held accountable for treating one another, their customers and clients with courtesy, dignity and respect,…" Discrimination, Harassment and Inappropriate Behavior Policy - Section/Number: 4-2-, 9/11/98.
The Dignity and Respect Committee is working with the council to help assure that this commitment is a reality for each of our members. Step by step we are working to bring our vision to life.
